A lot has been written here on my website about Dien Cham, the Vietnamese facial reflex massage. If you want to read my book "Chi instead of Botox" knows or my course who knows or even practises the method themselves. In Vietnam, this massage is used to treat ailments. Over the years, however, it has been discovered that people who do this are almost completely spared wrinkles. But who can tell us first-hand? My blogger friend Ursula. You'll also find a simple video tutorial below on how to practise Dien Cham without knowing the exact points.

When I was researching for my book, I came across all sorts of adventurous methods with big promises. I wanted my book to only include methods that really help. No hocus-pocus. In the end, the finalists were Facial yogacupping and facial scraping and Dien Cham. At that time, Dien Cham was virtually unknown here. It was difficult to find someone who could initiate you into the secrets and arts of this method. That is now slowly changing and I am pleased about that.

Dien Cham - the wrinkle killer in the long term

While facial yoga and Chinese facial massages bring about an immediate or at least very rapid improvement in facial skin, Dien Cham is a method that does not have an immediate visible effect. It has a noticeable effect - those who use it to treat their complaints sometimes feel an immediate improvement. The points are so effective that I have to avoid one of them because it has too strong an effect on me. During our last detox week, when we had to go without coffee, we realised that 4 Dien Cham points are a wonderful substitute for coffee and instantly perk you up. But if you practise Dien Cham to get rid of wrinkles or prevent them, you need to be patient.

I am all the more pleased to be able to introduce you to a woman who has been practising the simplest and quickest form of Dien Cham massage (video instructions below) for years and now, at over 50 years of age, realises that she has been almost completely spared wrinkles. She started doing this because she suffered for many years from severe discomfort caused by chronic sinusitis and was looking for a solution. She did not want to be dependent on medication. Dien Cham seemed to her to be a way that could be tried.

Get rid of discomfort & wrinkles

In addition to the treatment of the individual points, there is a set of 12 exercises that can be used as a kind of energy massage for health prophylaxis. You don't need to know the points and you don't need any special instruments. Ursula has favoured this massage for years. She rarely gets sinusitis these days and when she does, it can usually be treated without medication. And the side effect can now be seen after several years of use - Ursula's face is truly wrinkle-free at over 50. Read for yourself:

Reflexology as a fountain of youth

Ursula and I realised that we had attended the same Dien Cham course with the same masseuse a year apart. Coincidences do happen! Whoever Online course or my book has detailed instructions on the points and several massage options. For everyone else, as well as for Ursula's blog, I have decided to create a video with instructions for the pointless energy massage. You can use it as a health prophylaxis or as an investment in a good appearance.

Quote from Ursula: "I enjoy the fact that you can do the energising facial massage with just your own fingers every morning. I don't have to run around fetching or pulling out anything, but can start in bed as soon as I wake up. It helps on many levels, is inexpensive and I don't have to have my face rubbed in by anyone I don't know."

Dien Cham in my blog

If you would prefer a massage with points, you are welcome to read this article by me: Dien Chan and the secret of youth: Dr Ngoc Levan tells the story. There you will also find points for staying young for longer, which the Dien Cham doctor Dr Levan compiled for me. These are also not included in the only Dien Cham book on the market. If you are looking for points for a better hormone balance - which also has an effect on your appearance - you can read this article: Dien Cham points for a better hormone balance.

My personal experience with Dien Cham

As I naturally use all the methods described in my book "Chi instead of Botox" - usually in turn - it's difficult for me to say which of them I have to thank for my freedom from wrinkles. As far as Dien Cham is concerned, I really like to do the massage I show in the video. You really must try it in the morning after moisturising. You'll feel more energised and your skin will look better. But you can also do it at any other time of the day. The feeling afterwards is really very pleasant. The entire head area, not just the face, feels energised. You can really feel the energy, it's really something that's hard to describe. Just try it and see for yourself.

Points instead of anaesthesia

If I wake up in the night and find it difficult to fall asleep again, I use the calming points. There are only 3, but I feel the effect after the first one. Incidentally, a doctor who is familiar with similar methods recently told me about a friend of his who is doing research in this area. He is an anaesthetist and has investigated the effect of one of these points. I'll tell you where it is - right between the eyebrows. The study showed that after 5 minutes of massaging this point, the patient's system was in a state that is normally only achieved with the help of anaesthesia, while he was awake and talking to the doctor. The results here are truly fascinating.

And I can only agree with Ursula - when it comes to colds, blocked noses or sinusitis, this is the best method. You usually have to use it several times a day, but it's incredibly quick. It is also excellent for headaches. And then you also have the good feeling of having done something for your appearance.

The promised video

So, here's my video, it's a gift to you, make something of it! Just because you know, recognise or see it doesn't change anything. You have to do it. Many of my course participants like to do this massage in the morning. I personally also find it very pleasant and stimulating in the morning. Enjoy it and don't forget to let me know how you get on with it. I am very happy to receive your emails, but if you post it here under this article, other readers will also be able to see it. Only by sharing experiences can we gain the necessary confidence and knowledge!
